Tammy Tyler, NP

Tammy is a nurse practitioner with a focus on family and functional medicine.  Tammy graduated from Aspen University with her doctor of nurse practice, in 2023.  Prior to her doctorate degree, Tammy graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with her Master of Science in Nursing. In 2018, she was awarded board certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Also, in 2018, Tammy received her certification with the American College of Surgeons for Advanced Trauma healthcare.

Tammy has presented and published articles on diversity in healthcare. She has
practiced and held roles as a nurse-leader for more than thirty years. She has owned home care agencies and private practices, mentored colleagues in leadership roles, instructed new nurse practitioner students, and advised on new innovations for hospital facilities.

While Tammy practices Family Medicine, her passion is functional care with a focus on overall quality of life, to find a balance of physical and mental wellness. In Tammy’s downtime, you will find her playing with her four corgis, gardening, or spending time with her family.
